I noticed a recent inquiry about a laser hair removal burn, and decided to look further.
What I discovered is that at least once a month it seems that someone has written in to ask for expert advice on dealing with burns from laser hair removal and IPL hair removal treatments.
I did a search for "laser hair removal" under the expert for burns page, and got 140 responses!!
When I did a search for burn inquiries about IPL, there were 63 questions posted in their library too.
Some of the burns were quite serious, 2nd degree burns even. In his answers, the expert did comment several times that burns are quite common, and at one point suggested that there's no excuse for excessive laser for cosmetic use.
I have to agree with him.
Even if the body heals from burns within 6 months in most cases, is it worth it?
As several people indicated, they were reluctant to go out in public. That's the opposite of what getting a treatment to improve your looks is supposed to do.
